Hello! I’m Caroline, and I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m a registered Nutritional Therapist with a professional background in writing and a semi-professional penchant for negronis.

It’s my mission to help women take control of their health instead of succumbing to the cacophony of fad diets and misinformation out there. Cutting out carbs? Avoiding fruit? Not on my watch, ladies.

I like to think of myself as a Nutritionist with a hedonistic streak. While I do love vegetables, sleeping for eight hours and a good old endorphin high, I also love red wine (Argentinian Malbec, thanks), croissants and eating a cheese fondue for two by myself.

Good health isn’t about perfection. God, wouldn’t it be boring if it was? Good health is about finding a balance, your own unique balance, one that makes you feel good in body and soul. Because it’s something you want to be doing for the rest of your life.

I can help you find that.

How I got here:

I’ve always enjoyed a healthy and well-balanced lifestyle. Unlike a lot of nutrition professionals, I never had a pivotal moment where I wanted to learn how to look after my health. I’m lucky that it didn’t take a health crisis to give me an interest in food - it’s just always been there.

After studying English Literature at university I attended Le Cordon Bleu in London to study Gastronomy & Nutrition, and learnt all about what (and what does not) make good food. While I definitely learnt that professional kitchens are not for me - apparently crying over spilt milk really doesn’t go down very well - I realised that there was absolutely a place for me in the world of food.

Having grown up in the depths of the Devonshire countryside, I’ve always had an appreciation of where food comes from. With a variety of pets, including one dog with a particular taste for small rodents (Russell, I’m looking at you) there was certainly no question of how the food chain worked. Vegetables came from the ground, meat came from the animals I saw in the fields, and bread came from the historic working water mill down the road. Most importantly, there was no room in life for diets of any kind.

Enid Blyton upbringing aside, this awareness of where food comes from, its simplicity and its value, is something I appreciate to this day. It’s part of why I love health and nutrition. Good food makes for good health - it makes us feel good, look good, sleep well and more. So why do we overcomplicate it so much?

Women’s health is hard enough at the best of times. With my help, we can build your healthy lifestyle, one small habit at a time. No overwhelm, no cutting things out, no misery. We’ll create a plan that works for you, because sometimes you really just want a croissant.

I know I do.
